Native Strolling Garden
The reveal along the path, rhythm of textures and survival strategies of desert species make this strolling garden attractive to client and wildlife. Working with our Mojave native plant palette is incredibly sexy because so many people that live in Las Vegas have no idea what native looks like. It does not always require blinking lights and human flesh. Additionally, a creative re-use of many of the existing site materials shown such as the rail-road ties and flagstone repeat the rhythmic design intent.

Borrowed View
Striking views towards Red Rock National Conservation Area can be found on the back side of this residence. The idea was to bring the surrounding natural environment inside the walls of this entry court yard taking the concept of “borrowing a view” and stretching it a little further.

Exterior Color Selection
Color can make or break any space. The nuisances of continually changing light throughout a day and how colors and materials talk to each within the scale of outdoor space are carefully considered in this front door procession. A stone façade detail added to the turret feature is to be added soon.
